50th Issue of symmetry Magazine Forthcoming!
Certain numbers have a way of making us pause, reflect on the past, and look to what the future may hold. An 18th birthday, a tenth wedding anniversary, and now, a 50th issue. So as the 50th issue of symmetry magazine is sent off to the printer, all of us at Sandbox paused to reflect and consider how we have gotten this far. In short, it has been a massive, gratifying undertaking. It has been widely accepted and lauded by the physics community. And it has opened countless doors for Sandbox in the world of science. In sum, 50 issues of symmetry magazine has easily been one of Sandbox’s most significant accomplishments.
Beginning in late 2004, symmetry magazine came out of the gate as a unique fusion of high design and thoughtful, provocative journalism. The pleasure of designing and producing symmetry alongside its writers, editors, and photographers has elevated our work and made us strive to create a better issue each and every time.
Looking forward, we eagerly await the challenges of the next fifty issues, and remain steadfast in symmetry‘s commitment to “explore the connections between particle physics and the rest of the world.”
