Run, Sandbox, Run! (...Predictable, I know)

Sandbox Flight Club’s Inaugural Run!

Call it Sandbox’s New Year’s resolution, call it a desire to shake off the mid-afternoon fatigue, or call it work-mandated-sadism. Whatever works best for you. The fact remains that a few weeks ago Jennifer floated the idea of a short, group jog. She got a few takers, so yesterday we all took part in the inaugural run of the Sandbox Flight Club. (Velour track suits have been ordered.) This is the first exercise-based activity to take place at Sandbox, which either speaks to our dedication to our work, or something else. And yes, it’s cold outside, but it’s not that cold. Complaining about the cold is for tourists and your uncle who lives in Missouri.

10 minutes of interval training (sprint, jog, repeat) is where we’re starting, but who knows where we’ll finish. Hopefully we won’t, which is kind of the point.

If you’re in the neighborhood, the gun goes off at 2:30 on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays so join us or wave as we go by. We’ll be in the alleys sprinting, jogging, repeating.

As the running progresses, we'll add photos. So stay tuned.
