Fun for All at Fermilab

Check out all of the fun events and activities put on by Fermilab!

Our client Fermilab is much more than just America’s particle physics and accelerator laboratory. By being actively involved within and open to the community, Fermilab also plays host to many other events and programs. These include folk dancing nights, lectures, educational tours, scholarships, workshops, and family nature fairs just to name a few.

Fermilab’s current lecture series has an event taking place this Friday evening, July 15th, entitled How to Bake Pi: An Edible Exploration of the Mathematics of Mathematics. It is sure to be an engaging and delicious lecture showcasing how math can be made fun and intriguing for all.

If you enjoy nature, Fermilab’s 6,800-acre site is also open to the public. A vast amount of wildlife call the grounds home, including Fermilab’s own herd of North American bison. Stop by the main entrance to pick up a visitors guide and map that Sandbox Studio designed.
