Scientists working from data collected in the Dark Energy Survey have found what they believe to be are rare dwarf satellite galaxies revolving around the Milky Way. Dwarf satellite galaxies are dominated by dark matter and these new discoveries could lead to a better understanding of the mysterious substance that accounts for most of the matter in the universe.
