Center for Wearable Sensors Website

The Jacobs School of Engineering at UC San Diego recently began launching new centers and institutes that focus on emerging technologies and areas of research. First to launch is the Center for Wearable Sensors which explores remote monitoring, wireless data transfer, and analytical data for healthcare, security, fitness, and other applications.

The new responsive site Sandbox developed for the Center attracts partnerships and encourages business relationships with San Diego’s global-leading wireless technology community.

The project has wider ramifications on campus. Sandbox was asked to ensure the new Center’s site could function as a model for all future Jacobs School’s research center websites. In branding a new entity like a center, we ensured the design holds an appropriate position within the larger UC San Diego brand.
