With the recent success of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, the opportunity to push high energy particle physics to its next great discovery could come via the LCC. In a collaboration that brought together the top-two candidates, the ILC and the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC), the LCC is bringing together an international group of over 2000 particle physicists, accelerator physicists, and engineers to design and develop this proposed 30km accelerator.
